Today was a powerful day out on the streets. Before we handed out a single item, I felt led to share my testimony with the friends we serve — not a polished sermon, just the truth of where God brought me from.I told them about one of the lowest nights of my life, a night when I didn’t know how things could ever get better. And in that moment, I heard God speak one simple word to my heart: “more.”
Not more money. Not more success.
More of Him. More relationship. More purpose.Standing there today, six years later, I realized just how true that word was. God kept His promise. I have more peace, more love, more family, and more calling than I ever imagined on that dark night. And I wanted them to know that God has more for them too — not in a prosperity way, but in a relationship way. It all starts there. After that, we got to work.
We served a home‑cooked meal from an amazing restaurant, and we were able to give out tents, clothes, sleeping bags, blankets, pet food, and hot chocolate. But more important than any item we handed out were the conversations, the prayers, and the moments of connection.Today wasn’t just outreach.
It was testimony.
It was hope.
It was a reminder that God meets us right where we are — and He always has more.
